Terms of Service
Recurring Reminder is provided by Revnology Group (M) Sdn. Bhd. (202101013320 (1413619-U)), A-17-03A, Pinnacle PJ, Lorong Utara C, 46200 Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia (“Revnology”, “we”).
These terms are the agreement between you and Revnology for using Recurring Reminder. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you use it for a company or other organisation, you agree on its behalf and confirm you are allowed to.
1. The service
Recurring Reminder keeps track of recurring obligations: statutory filings and payments in Malaysia, bills, renewals, tasks and money to collect. It works out due dates from the details you give, sends reminder emails and a calendar feed, keeps records and files of what was done, and lets you share this with your team.
2. Reminders are a tool, not advice
Please read this section carefully.
- Due dates, guides, steps, portal links and penalty estimates are based on our understanding of Malaysian rules and on the details you enter. Rules change, apply differently to different businesses, and can be read in more than one way. They are general information, not tax, legal, accounting or company secretarial advice.
- Check the dates and requirements that apply to you with the relevant authority (such as SSM, LHDN, KWSP, PERKESO, HRD Corp or the Royal Malaysian Customs Department), or with your accountant, tax agent or company secretary.
- You remain responsible for meeting your obligations on time. Reminder emails can be delayed, filtered as spam, or not delivered, and a reminder may be set up wrongly or turned off. We are not responsible for penalties, fines, interest, late charges or other losses that come from a missed or late filing or payment.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 18, and give accurate details, including an email address you can receive mail at.
- Keep your password safe, and turn on two-step sign-in if you can. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- A team’s owners decide who joins it and what each person can see and do. Owners are responsible for the access they give, and for removing people who should no longer have it.
- Tell us straight away at [email protected] if you think someone has used your account without permission.
4. Plans and fees
- Free plan. The free plan is offered at no charge, with limits on how many teams you can own and how many businesses each team can have. Settings shows your limits and how much of them you have used.
- Paid plans. Paid plans raise those limits and may add features, at the price and for the period quoted to you when you subscribe. Fees are in Malaysian ringgit, are payable in advance, and are exclusive of any applicable taxes, such as service tax, which are added where required.
- Renewal and cancellation. A paid plan renews for the same period unless you cancel before it ends. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period already paid for.
- Refunds. Fees already paid are not refundable, including for a part of a period, except where the law requires otherwise or we agree in writing.
- Late payment. If a fee is not paid when due, we may move the account back to the free plan’s limits. Nothing you have is deleted, but you cannot add more beyond those limits until payment is made. We may suspend the account if the fee stays unpaid after we have reminded you.
- Price changes. We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice. A change applies from your next period, not the one already paid for.
5. Your content
- What you and your team put into Recurring Reminder (businesses, reminders, records, notes and files) stays yours. You give Revnology permission to store, process, copy and display it only as needed to provide the service to you and your team.
- You are responsible for your content, and for having the right to give us the personal data of other people in it, such as staff, directors or people you invite. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.
- Keep your own copies of anything important. You can download your history and a full backup of your team from Settings.
6. Acceptable use
Do not:
- use the service for anything unlawful, or to store content you have no right to store;
- use invitations or extra email recipients to send unwanted email, or add people who have not agreed to receive it;
- try to get into accounts or data that are not yours, test or get around our security, or interfere with the service;
- overload the service, or use automated means to access it other than the features we provide (such as the calendar feed);
- copy, resell or offer the service to others without our written agreement.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep Recurring Reminder available and reliable, but it may sometimes be unavailable, for example for maintenance or because of problems outside our control. We may improve, change or remove features. If a change significantly reduces what a paid plan includes, we will tell you in advance, and you may cancel and receive a refund of fees paid for the time remaining.
8. Suspension and ending
- You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time in Settings → Account.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, is used fraudulently or to cause harm, does not pay fees due, or where the law requires it. Where it is reasonable, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
- When an account is deleted or closed, its data is deleted as our Privacy Policy describes. Download anything you want to keep first.
9. Disclaimer
To the extent the law allows, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its due dates, guides or penalty estimates are complete or correct for your situation.
10. Limits on liability
- To the extent the law allows, Revnology is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill, or for penalties, fines, interest or charges imposed on you by any authority or third party.
- Revnology’s total liability for all claims about the service is limited to the fees you paid us for it in the 12 months before the claim arose, or RM 100 if you paid nothing.
- Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under the law.
11. Indemnity
You agree to cover Revnology’s reasonable losses and costs from a claim by someone else that arises from your content, or from your use of the service in breach of these terms or the law.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email or in the app at least 14 days before it takes effect. If you keep using the service after that, the new terms apply; if you do not agree, you can stop using it and delete your account.
13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the courts of Malaysia have jurisdiction. Before going to court, please contact us so we can try to resolve the matter.
14. General
If part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our agreement. These terms, with the Privacy Policy and any plan you subscribe to, are the whole agreement between you and Revnology Group (M) Sdn. Bhd. about the service.
